The International airport has shown sustained growth in its passenger traffic in recent years: in 2022 it registered 9 million travelers, in 2023 reached 11 million an increase of 18 % and in 2024 broke the record with 14 million passengers an additional growth of 9 %, by 2025 it is projected to exceed 15 million passengers, which would be equivalent to a new increase of close to 6 %, consolidando así su posición como el aeropuerto más transitado del Caribe y un eje fundamental para la conectividad de Puerto Rico.
